Howard Berke
Chairman & CEO
Howard Berke has over 25 years hands-on management experience launching, building and leading both public and private technology companies. This includes 18 years of general management with full P&L responsibility for eight start-up companies and nine years of business development and marketing focusing on emerging technologies.
Mr. Berke has founded or co-founded 12 start-up companies and has initiated and completed numerous corporate acquisitions, mergers and R&D joint ventures in the US, Europe and Asia. He continues to advise start-up companies and entrepreneurs in a wide range of fields including medical, biotech, software, networking, telecon and energy technology.
Mr. Berke received his MBA from the University of Chicago and his BA from Yale University. His academic training includes finance, accounting. operations, corporate law, architecture and physics.

Dr. Alan J. Heeger. Ph.D.
Director
Winner of the 2000 Nobel Chemistry Prize, Dr. Heeger and his colleagues at the University of California, Santa Barbara, have done pioneering research in the area of semi-conducting and metallic polymers. His current research group focuses on issues related to the fundamental electronic structure of this novel class of materials and carries out studies of light-emitting diodes (LEDs), light-emitting electrochemical cells (LECs), and lasers all fabricated from semiconducting (conjugated) polymers.

Bic Stevens
Director
In addition to over 30 years of experience as a venture capitalist, investment banker, and consultant to numerous small and medium-sized companies, Stevens has served as a director of 27 private companies and as an interim CEO. Currently with Zero Stage Capital, Stevens focuses his investment activities on the Internet and IT/communications sectors and is currently a director of nine portfolio companies.

Raj Atluru
Director
Atluru is a Managing Director at Draper Fisher Jurvetson where he serves on the boards of Agentis, Amazing Media, Blue Titan Software, IQ Labs, Konarka Technologies, OpenLatitude, PAR3 Communications and Vizional Technologies. Atluru has assumed strategic and operating roles to help seed stage and early-stage companies, and he currently focuses on enterprise applications, software infrastructure, wireless communications and emerging energy technologies. Prior to Draper Fisher Jurvetson, Atluru spent three years with TL Ventures where he focused on early-stage supply chain, e-commerce applications and wireless communication companies. Prior boards include Syncra Systems, Planalytics, DigitalWork and American Compliance Systems, where he also served as interim CEO and Chairman. In addition, Atluru worked in the Leveraged Finance and Asian Corporate Finance groups at Credit Suisse First Boston in New York, Hong Kong and Singapore. Atluru graduated from Stanford University with B.S. and M.S. degrees in Environmental Engineering and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
